Designed to reach. Made to be seen.

The DAVSJÖ step ladders combine everyday function with a refined, architectural expression. Crafted from solid wood and manufactured in northern Sweden, the collection includes three different models – DS40, DS41 and DS42 – designed for kitchens, libraries, wardrobes and other spaces where additional reach is needed. The new DS42 aligns seamlessly with DS40 and DS41, offering a cohesive design across all models – now available in three functional formats to suit every need.

Available in ash, oak and walnut, each ladder is designed to remain part of the interior rather than something that needs to be hidden away.

Solid Wood Step Ladders, Made in Sweden

Our step ladders are made from solid wood with carefully considered proportions, clean lines and precise transitions. Every detail is designed with both function and longevity in mind. The collection follows the same Scandinavian design language across all three models, making it possible to choose the height and configuration that best suits the space without compromising on expression.

Find the Right Step Ladder

DS40 | 3-Step Ladder

A compact three-step ladder for everyday use. DS40 offers a standing height of approximately 62 cm and is well suited for kitchens, wardrobes and other spaces where a little extra reach is needed.

DS41 | 3-Step Ladder with Extended Handles

DS41 shares the proportions and three-step configuration of DS40, with extended handles for additional support and balance. A practical choice for frequently used spaces such as kitchens, libraries and walk-in closets.

DS42 | 4-Step Ladder

Our tallest step ladder, designed for interiors with higher cabinets, shelving and ceilings. The fourth step provides a standing height of approximately 85 cm while retaining the same visual language as DS40 and DS41.

Designed for Kitchens, Libraries and Walk-In Closets

A step ladder is often essential in spaces where storage extends vertically. The DAVSJÖ ladders are designed for precisely these environments – from reaching upper kitchen cabinets to accessing bookshelves and high wardrobe storage.

Their solid-wood construction and considered proportions allow them to become a natural part of the room, ready to use when needed.

Easy to Store. Designed to Stay on Display.

All three ladders fold into a slim profile for easy storage. When folded, they can stand independently, lean against a wall or be hung using the matching DS43 wall mount.

The wall-mounted solution keeps the ladder easily accessible while turning storage into part of the interior.

Crafted for Longevity

We believe sustainability begins with designing objects worth keeping. Solid wood is a durable and renewable material that can age beautifully, be maintained over time and withstand everyday use.

Our ladders are designed and manufactured in Sweden with an emphasis on material, craftsmanship and longevity – objects made to serve a purpose for many years to come.
