DS10 in solid oak is a premium designer dining chair (armchair) where warmth and Scandinavian design converge. We recommend daily care with a dry cloth and, when needed, use of a damp cloth and, if needed, wood soap spray as a gentle cleaning agent. Use wood soap spray at most once a week to avoid over-saturation of the surface. To maintain resistance against stains and prevent dry cracks, oiled furniture needs regular maintenance with oil. The oil requirement varies depending on wear.

DS10 and DS11 were designed in close relation to our dining tables. The rear legs of the chairs align with the table legs, creating a visual connection between the pieces. Their proportions and placement are carefully considered to allow the chairs to sit naturally between the leg pairs, forming a cohesive dining setting.
The folding DS11 dining chair shares the same form and design language as the DS10, adding flexibility to the dining setting. Complement the DS10 with folding DS11 chairs when additional seating is needed, without compromising the overall aesthetic.
A central challenge in developing DS10 and DS11 was combining an expressive form with the folding construction of the DS11. The legs, seat, backrest and armrests are connected through carefully shaped transitions, creating a continuous and cohesive expression. Despite its folding construction, the DS11 retains a natural form in both its open and folded positions.
Each chair is crafted from solid wood in our workshop in Northern Sweden. The construction, joinery and shaping have been developed as integral parts of the design, allowing the craftsmanship to contribute to the overall expression rather than being concealed. The result is a chair where construction and form become part of the same whole.
