The DAVSJÖ dining table collection is designed around proportion, material and the relationship between table and chair. Crafted from solid wood and manufactured in Sweden, the tables combine generous surfaces with a light architectural expression.

Available in fixed and extendable versions, the collection is designed for everyday dining as well as larger gatherings.

Solid Wood Dining Tables, Made in Sweden

Each DAVSJÖ dining table is crafted from solid wood, allowing the natural character of the material to become part of the design. Carefully considered proportions, softly rounded corners and a beveled tabletop create a lighter expression while retaining the presence and durability of solid wood.

The tables are available in ash, oak and walnut, with finishes selected to enhance the character of each wood.

Find the Right Dining Table

The collection includes both fixed and extendable dining tables in different lengths, making it possible to choose a table according to the room, number of seats and need for flexibility.

DS204 | 204 cm Dining Table

At 204 cm, DS204 is the more compact fixed dining table in the collection. Its proportions allow four chairs to sit comfortably between the legs, with additional seating possible at the ends.

DS252 | 252 cm Dining Table

DS252 offers a more generous dining surface, with room for six chairs between the table legs. Designed for larger dining spaces, it retains the same proportions and detailing as DS204.

DS204/254 | Extendable Dining Table

DS204/254 extends from 204 to 254 cm, providing additional seating when needed while maintaining a compact format for everyday use.

An integrated butterfly extension leaf allows the table to be extended without storing a separate leaf elsewhere.

DS252/302 | Large Extendable Dining Table

The largest extendable table in the collection expands from 252 to 302 cm. It combines the generous proportions of DS252 with an integrated extension, making it suitable for larger dining settings and gatherings.

Extendable Dining Tables for Everyday Flexibility

An extendable dining table should work just as naturally in its closed position as it does fully extended. The DAVSJÖ extendable tables are therefore designed as complete tables first, with the extension mechanism integrated into the construction.

The concealed butterfly leaf can be unfolded when additional table space is needed and stored within the table when not in use.

Designed Around the Chair

DAVSJÖ dining tables and chairs were developed in relation to one another. The angled table legs align with the rear legs of the DS10 and DS11 dining chairs when placed around the table, creating a visual connection between the individual pieces.

This alignment brings order to the dining setting and reflects a recurring principle throughout the DAVSJÖ collection: individual objects designed to work together as a whole.

Details that Lighten the Form

Despite being made from solid wood, the tables are designed to appear visually light. A beveled edge reduces the perceived thickness of the tabletop, creating an almost floating expression, while softly rounded corners and angled legs give the table its architectural character.

The details are subtle individually, but together they define the expression of the collection.

Crafted for Longevity

We believe sustainability begins with design. Solid wood, considered construction and a timeless expression allow furniture to be maintained and remain in use over time.

DAVSJÖ dining tables are thoroughly designed and manufactured in Sweden, with an emphasis on function, craftsmanship and longevity.
